Okay so it may have taken 2 yrs, but we have grass!!! Whooo Hoooo!!!!! Kids LOVE it! Here was the lovely process that went into this oasis of ours! BTW, hopefully next year we’ll be able to put the back porch cover up!!!!

Since all the plants (40+) are planted now time for the rock!!!!!! Yay!!!!!
One all the rock was spread, the weeds cleaned up our sod was delivered!! Diego finished the grass!!!
Look at our beautiful backyard!!! My husband is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! He wheeled all the 5 tons of sand, and spread it… He hired someone to do the rocks, but he planted all but 17 (b/c I did those!) of our 43 plants, including the 5 palm trees we have.. AND he ran the dripper lines to every single plant!!!! He is freaking fabulous!!! I am so proud of him, and so thankful that he is so hard working!!! He watered the grass down, then we turned the sprinklers on to finish the watering job, so awesome!!!!.
I can’t wait for our plants to come grow all big!!!! I drew out a map and labeled each place for ever single plant!!! I am the brains behind my hub's labor!!! :) Love it, not to mention the landscaper who did the irrigation came by and complemented my plant placement! I researched every plant to know when and how big it would grow and when the flowers would bloom… Love my garden!
