So since school has been out I have been trying to have an activity each week for the kids to do, so they aren’t bored :) Well we always go to the pool at least twice week (especially since when the baby is born we won’t be going), but how can we not go to the pool when its .75 for kids to get in?!?! Then I have been having a “cooking/baking” time with them, fun right?! Right!! So last week we did the chocolate cups, with the yummy homemade pudding, well this week we did Pie Pops!!! So fun, and so yummy! They had so much fun making these! I love how excited they get over these kind of things, it make a mommy smile :) Check them out….

Cooking Class!!
So a couple of weeks back I got this email from Groupon for an amazing deal from Young Chef’s Academy here in town! I was so excited because I have been wanting to take Brooklyn there for the LONGEST time… well now Alex is old enough to go, so I got one for Brooklyn and Alex! They were offering one class for $10! Usually to try a class its $25! Isn’t that great?!?! I could NOT pass up such a deal, because I knew the kids would LOVE it! So after I got my groupon I went online to see what classes they were offering. I was able to sign up Alex for one that was in June, but I still haven’t found one for Brooklyn yet. I think we’re going to take her to one in July, but they are good for 1yr so really she could go this summer or on one of her breaks from school. So no rush, which is nice :)
Well Alex got to go yesterday to his little cooking class, and little Mackenzie joined us! They got to make strawberry shortcakes, and haystacks! YUM! They were so adorable! He loved it, and I am so glad we go the wonderful opportunity to go, now check out the pics!
He didn’t want his picture taken, LOL
So adorable!
Now they get to eat everything they made!!
Look mom!

37 wk Belly Pic!!!
One last post before bed :) Sooooo here it is another belly pic! I am 37wks now! Which means I have 2 wks left! Can you believe it?? So crazy! Everything basically all ready! All we need is a little baby girl! Her room is 90% finished…all the hard stuff is done, I just need to hang up the pictures that match her bedding, and a few minor details and it will be done! I have all of her clothes washed and put away, her diaper bag is packed for the hospital and everything! I am so excited! The kids are freaking out, they can’t stand the wait any longer! I am totally looking forward for my mom, grandma and sister to get here! I haven’t seen them in so long, I am so happy they are able to come and share this time with us! Anyway, here’s to 37 weeks!!!
Justin’s First Visit!
So, as you could see Justin was in the Father’s Day pictures! That’s right! He was here in AZ! It was so great to have him here with us, we were very excited and so were the kids! The boys had some adjusting to do when he arrived. Justin and Alex are both the only boys in their homes, so now they were put in a situation for 4 days where they had to share that “boy spotlight”. It was rather tough for them at times (especially Alex b/c he had to share all of his toys 100% of the time which he isn't used too, so it was good for him, lol!!) because it was their first time being together for so long, next time and all the times after will get better since they will be used to each other. We weren’t sure how things were going to go since he hadn’t ever spent the night anywhere before, but it went so wonderful!! It was like he had been to our house a million times before, it was nice to see him so comfortable in our home. The first night he came they boys had a “boys night” because I had a “girls night” with some of the ladies from church. I had put a Roast in the crock-pot that morning so they were taken care of for dinner, and I was off! Well after they ate dinner they played the Wii and watched a movie. Diego said that they had a great time! We also took Justin to the pool a couple of times, and the rest of the time we just hung out. They had a blast! He will be back in 2 wks when the baby come :) As much as Alex gave Justin a hard time (at times) he was so sad that he left. He started crying this evening telling me that he wanted him to come back, it was so cute. Brooklyn wasn’t ready for him to leave, she had a lot of fun with him too :)
Check out some pics from the weekend!!
The kids eating lunch all together :)
Pool Fun!!!
Playing outside, Justin loved this! He loved riding Alex’s scooter :)
Once they were done, they played ball with Diego… this is a must here at home with my kids. Brooklyn and Alex LOVE to play basketball with him and I’m so glad Justin got to be apart of it this time. They had a BLAST!
Playing with the balloons at the house… silly kids.
Then they wanted to make a craft while waiting on his mom to pick him up today… I felt soooo bad because I was trying to hurry and get Justin's finished so he could leave because his mom showed up… but it wasn’t enough heat to set the craft SO he couldn’t take his home. But since he’ll be back in 2 wks we told him he could just do it again :)
We had such a wonderful time! I have sooo many more pics, but way to much to post :) Night!
Father’s Day 2010
We had such a wonderful Father’s day! We spent it with Diego’s parents, because not only was it Father’s day it was Antonio’s (Diego’s dad) birthday too! We started off the day by going to church, then out to lunch with the whole family and off to the surprise (Diego actually found out sooner, but that’s okay)!! I have been wanting to take Diego to this indoor kart racing place in Phoenix, it is soooooo my hubby. So I thought what a better day to go than Father’s Day! Well these karts go super fast (for go karts that is) and the little boys couldn’t ride them and neither could I, so I though it would be so fun to invite Diego’s dad out for the surprise too!! That way Diego had someone to enjoy his “racing” with. They had so much fun!!! Well after the kart racing we decided to take the kids to Game Works so they could have some fun as well…and they did, of course! While at Game Works they were having friendly Father’s Day competition between the dad’s that were there, and whoever decided to play would win a $5 game card. Soooo Diego decided to go for it! He raced against 3 other dads, and the first time we all thought he got 1st place so he got up out of the car… well the game added more time!!! So Diego hurried and sat back down, by that time it was to late and so he came in 2nd.. Well they did it a second time, so Diego decided to go again, and he WON!!!! It was so cute because the boys were sitting in the car with him, loved it! After all that we left to go home, on our way we picked up Brooklyn from her dad’s house and just hung out at home the rest of the evening. It was a great day :)
Check out the pics!

Edible Pudding Cups?!?!
Ummmmm YES!!!!! So I found this super cute idea from Bakerella, and I when I saw I it….. I knew that we HAD to do it with the kids!! So last night I made the pudding…made like not from a box, let me tell you it is DELISH!!! You can find the recipe HERE. I let it set over night, and then this morning we washed off the balloons, melted the chocolate and went to town! So basically you just melt the chocolate in a bowl, and put a dollop of chocolate on the wax paper, dip your balloon in and then set it on top of the little dollop. Wa La! Let them harden, and then see what is next!
The kids are ready to go w/their balloons!!!!
Ready to DIP!
Half way done!!
Balloons/Pudding cups all finished! Now we just have to wait, which if you have kids you know that they are NOT good at waiting!! Especially when it comes to treats! Look how cute these little guys are…super cute!!
Now here is they part they couldn't WAIT for..popping the balloons!! So next we pop the balloons, take them out of the cup, and there you have it!! Your own little pudding/ice cream/whatever your little heart desires kinda cup!
POP!!!
Now you have these super cute little chocolate cups!
Now its time to fill them up!!! Soooo yummy! The kids were even more excited about this part! They had such a great time!
First get a big ole scoop of pudding!!
Now time for the whipped topping!!!!
Can’t forget the…..SRPINKLES!!!!!!
How YUMMY do these look!??!?!?! The kids thought they looked pretty yummy!!
Y-U-M-M-Y!!!!
Another great part of these super duper yummy treats, is you can EAT the cup when you are finished!!!!!
