Pumpkins!!! Oh and Traditions!!!

Well it seems as if our little family has started a tradition!! Here is the story.....

We went to buy pumpkins on Saturday and when we got home Brooklyn asked "Where are we going to carve the pumpkins?" and I told her "Outside like we always do". Then I got to thinking that every year since Alex has been born (which is 3 yrs) we have carved our pumpkins on the back porch on our patio table AND every year we take a picture with them :) Although the first year we didn't do a "family" one...we got one with me & the kids then Diego & the kids. So it is kind of funny that we have started this little tradition of..it HAS to be on the porch and it HAS to be on the patio table and we HAVE to take a family pic :) I love traditions, and as silly as this seems..our kids are going to be able to look back at the years of carving pumpkins and have good memories!! We also have our silly traditions for Christmas and other holidays as well that I will never ever change! Some of them have been from when I was a little girl that I am now doing with my family!! I hope my kids are able to pass it down as well :)

HSM3....

...was actually really good! Besides how good the movie was or not, it was a really fantastic night with my little girl! We had a blast! It was nice to have "mommy and Brooklyn" time :) Here are some pics :)

Fall Festival 2008

So out here we have this really great Pumpkin and Chili Festival and a local farm, it is wonderful! We were really excited to go this year b/c we hadn't been to this specific one in about 3yrs. Last year we didn't go at all, we just went to a pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins...and the year before we went to one that was about an hour away from here. Sooooo, we were excited to get back out and go to the one here in our town.

The kids had a lot of fun! They got to ride the rides, go on a hay ride, roast marshmallows, visit the petting zoo, pig races, and more! It was loads of fun!! Here are some pics from last night..I am not going to post all of them b/c I took like over 50pics!!

A mommy daughter date!!

I am so excited for Friday to get here!! Brooklyn and I are going to the movies to see High School Musical 3 or better known as HSM3!!! She got an AMC movie gift card 3yrs ago and thankfully it doesn't expire! So we are heading to the movies for free!! AND the best part about it, we will have money to spare for drinks and snacks yay! She is super excited about it..... and so am I, we haven't ever gone to the movies by ourselves, always been a family thing. So this is going to be a great experience for the two of us! Oh, and I am sure it is going to be crazy packed! FUN!

I want to go and retake one of the kids together, b/c Brooklyn's hair is in her eyes, and then Alex's legs look huge b/c of the way he is sitting lol! But their individual ones are really good :)

It has been a while!

Hasn't it? Wow! Well, we have been extremely busy around here, between me taking 13 hrs at school, working, and Diego working. He has been working A LOT, he had like 37 hours over time last week, that is 77 hours! I feel bad for him b/c he is so tired!

I should be posting some new pics here soon, and we are going to be going to our Fall Festival thing out here soon. It is at Schnepff Farms, it is great! We love it! I was thinking we would go out there this week on Diego's day off....so I am crossing my fingers for that!

Nice weather = outside time = mommy is happy :)

Well the weather has been super duper nice these last couple of days, so I took the kids outside and they finger painted...FUN :) It was a little windy so they have funky hair!! But it is so cute! LOL!!
