VBS 2010!!

Is here!!!!!!! This year is fun because it is Alex’s FIRST time getting to attend VBS (Vacation Bible School)!! He has always been back in the childcare area while I have worked..but not this year!! So fun!! Last night was the first night, Brooklyn and Alex had a BLAST!! They were so cute! I love that we have such a wonderful church, with such a wonderful children’s ministry! My kids really enjoy going, and that makes it so much easier on a mom for sure! Here are some pics of my cuties enjoying the first night of VBS!!!

Pottery Fun!!

On Monday a group (quite large actually) of us mom’s got together and took the kids to a Pottery place here in town, it was so fun! The kids loved painting their little projects, but now we have to wait…. After they were done we left their projects there, and now they are going to bake them so they come out all shiny and pretty! I am excited for them to see their finished their product! Because when they left them they looked very matted and not the true colors, but once they bake the pieces it will be so nice! Count down to baby Natalie!!

So the kids and I decided we were going to cut out and decorate some rings to string up, why you ask? Well every night the kids will take a ring off and it will show how many days we have left until the baby gets here! They are so excited to meet their new baby sister, and had a TON of fun doing this little project!

Brooklyn got right to it! She didn’t waste anytime to start making her art!


Alex on the other hand… took a bit to come around. He just wanted to start gluing… but we had to decorate first, LOL Crazy kid!

But he came around…

Fun in the SUN?!?

Well, if you are in the water you will be having some fun in our AZ sun!! We are so lucky to have a friend that has a pool, and that is NOT an understatement! We weren’t able to drive out to the big pool this week, but my friend Courtney invited us over TWICE to come swim this week! The kids had a BLAST! You can’t beat the heat…so get in a pool!!

School’s out for SUMMER!!

Oh my goodness! Can you believe it!! It is official. She is finished with the 2nd grade!!! Ahh!! What am I going to do, they are growing like weeds on speed! They had a really fun week this past week, things like a talent show-tea party-crazy hair day-and then for the last day a Pajama Party!!! Here are some pics of her last day :)

She had a great 2 years with these kids and she is going to miss them terribly! At her school they loop 1/2nd grades, 3/4th grades and 5/6 grades… So she has had this teacher and class since 1st grade! She has had a wonderful two years with these kids and has loved every minute of Mrs. Kaufman!! She is very anxious to see who will be in her class next year, and what teacher she will have! It will be all brand new! So exciting!

Memorial Weekend

We had such a great time over at our friends house! I love when lots of people get together and have a great time, nothing makes me happier than seeing my kids playing and having a blast along with my husband and I laughing with friends… its the best. Here are some pictures from the weekend :)
