Gone Fishin’

So on Easter we were at the park and we walked by this couple who were fishing. Well, they had a little kids fishing pole and Alex saw it and said “Ahh I wish I had one of those little fishing poles”. As we were leaving that couple came up to us and said that they had found the fishing pole the last time they were there, and just kept it. They said that they overheard Alex say that he wanted a fishing pole like that and so they wanted to give it to him! How nice is that?!? So now my little Alex has a mini fishing pole, its Sponge Bob…not my favorite, but oh well it was a gift :)

So Diego thought that he and Alex would go fishing the next day! They went and bought some worms, and he took him back to the same park to go fishing! Alex had a blast, and so did Daddy :)
